CREDIT CARD NOT WORKING
2Checkout.com. In order to know why exactly the purchases are failing, we would need to have the exact error messages they are receiving. First, however, we strongly advise that they first contact their bank and confirm that the failure is not related to the issuing bank declining the transaction. If the issuing bank confirms there is no problem with their account, make sure that they are entering all the digits of the the credit card number in a single sequence with no spaces or dashes.

Also, there are a couple of errors that are more common and I will explain these here in case these are the errors received.

In order for orders to process through our system the address information given must match EXACTLY the information on their bank billing statement. Meaning if they have street abbreviated st. on their statement and they enter street, it MAY fail. If the customer is receiving an error message associated with their address, please have them check their bank statement to verify how their address appears in their records.

Another common error would be a CVV code error. That error message is associated with the 3-4 digit code that they are asked to enter from their credit card. They will find instructions to find this number listed here:

A "do not honor" error message indicates that the order is being returned by the processing network. Unfortunately, with this particular error message, they will need to contact their bank for additional information.

If they are receiving any error message where the reference number begins with UU it means that their information may be blocked in our system. This is often just a result of too many failed purchase attempts in a row but may also be a result of past fraud. If they receive these messages please advise them to wait a full 24 hours before trying to place the order again.

Also, almost all error messages can be resolved by following the below steps. Please forward the below instructions to your customer before the try to place the order again.
